Mrs. Tanya Curtis To All Instructors

Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Tanya settled in Maryland after serving in the United States Marine Corps III MEF Field Band, where she was so graciously saved by Jesus through Cadence International Ministries. She attended Washington Bible College in Lanham, Maryland. She and her husband, Aaron, and their five kids -- Mia, Simone, Naomi, Elijah, and Miles -- now reside in Baltimore.

Tanya has been homeschooling for sixteen years. Prior to that, she was a K-5th-grade art teacher at Lanham Christian School. Throughout the years, she has enjoyed teaching at STARS Co-op (2018 +) and runs summer sewing camps and drop-in sewing classes for all ages. She also works part-time as a hair and makeup artist with Best Face Forward.

In her free time, Tanya enjoys her morning quiet time with Jesus, snuggles with her dog Marley, and coffee! She loves to crochet, especially with her daughter, and enjoys serving on the dinner team at her church, Calvary Chapel Ellicott City.
